Powers —
Skills:
• Martial Arts: Taught by Genjuro Kazanari. Taught using Action Movies as a basis (with surprisingly and frighteningly effective results), and seems to take inspiration largely from Baji Quan. Used in tandem with her Symphogear, and has evolved into her own style, dubbed the "Hibiki-Style".
• Exceptional Singing Ability: As is expected from a Symphogear Wielder, Hibiki is a talented singer.
Superpowers:
• Symphogear-Wielder: Wielding the Gungnir Relic in the form of a pendant, Hibiki is able to transform and don a weapon and armor known as a Symphogear. Gungnir's model number is SG-r03, however Hibiki's is designated SG-r03', with the ' used to differentiate it, because while other Wielders who have used Gungnir have all utilized the large spear as their weapon, Hibiki instead uses gauntlets on her fists, though she does occasionally utilize the spear, however simply as an extension of her gauntlet.
The reason for Hibiki's more Martial Arts-focused method of fighting, rather than the typical usage of Gungnir, is due to her wish of bringing people together and holding hands. Thus, while she battles using her fists, her true Armed Gear is in actuality an open hand. Hence she holds no weapons, so that her hands can open and reach for others.
As a result, the energy that is usually used to form the Armed Gear is instead used to directly alter her fists and feet, allowing her to remain empty-handed. This eventually proves to be a benefit rather than a hindrance, as her strong will to avoid fighting and connect with other people allows her to join hands with others since she has no weapon to hold in her hands.
In order to activate and transform into the Symphogear, the user must sing a song that harmonizes with the Relic Shard within the pendant. It is also known as the "Holy Words", and in Hibiki's case, she sings "Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron" to activate her gear, and therefore transform.
Created in order to combat the mysterious entities known as "Noise", the Symphogear is powered by an energy known as Phonic Gain, which is generated via the power of singing. Able to respond to the synthetic vibration resonance created by the fighting spirit of the user, the Symphogear's greatest trait is its internal functionality to play a certain melody. By synchronizing that melody with the user through song, the Symphogear displays an incredibly high rate of battle potential.
The Symphogear itself plays the instrumentals and backing track of the song, and the lyrics naturally come to the wearers mind, and are based off their thoughts and feelings. When multiple users are in Unison, it can be assumed that the gears syncing up allows for the seamless duets and group songs.
On top of possessing incredible power, the Symphogear is able to provide considerable defense for the user. Along with various energy fields that defend the user from the carbonizing effect of the Noise they were made to combat, there are a large number of various other energy fields that protect the user by absorbing damage. It is not an absolute defense, but it results in Symphogear Wielders being incredibly durable.
• Climax Song: Name varies by translation, also known as Superb Song or Swan Song. The trump card and most powerful ability in the Symphogear System. As the various names suggest, this is a dangerous double-edged sword. While the Climax Song allows for a massive increase in Phonic Gain, as well as an explosive increase in power and the Symphogear's most powerful attack, the gear itself is usually not enough to reduce the backfire and load on the human body. If a user's compatibility with the Symphogear is low, or there is disharmony between the Symphogear and the user, the damage increases and could potentially be fatal. An example of this being the death of Kanade Amou, the original user of Gungnir, who turned to dust after using her Climax Song.
In the case of high compatibility, the power will increase and the damage done via the backlash can be reduced, but negating all of the damage is near-impossible. Hibiki Tachibana is a hard exception to this, as her being purged of the Curse of Balal, and her near-death experience in almost fusing with the Gungnir fragments in her chest, her compatibility is absurdly high, and she is able to use her Climax Song much more freely, and can even absorb the energy from the Climax Songs of other Symphogear users into her own body and take on the entire burden by herself for powerful attacks.
The song that is sung for the Climax Song is as follows:Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal
Emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl
Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal
Emustolronzen Finé el zizzl
• Anti-Divinity/God-Killer: In Senki Zesshou Symphogear AXZ, it is revealed that Gungnir is in actuality a Philosophical Weapon from 2000 years of being associated with the death of divinity as the spear used by Saint Longinus to check if the Son of God had died, granting it the ability to kill gods and divine entities. Put simply, all of Hibiki's attacks possess a special property that gives her an innate advantage against anything that is conceptually considered as "divine", and can damage gods and prevent them from healing as well.
• Amalgam: A form-change unlocked for the Symphogears rebuilt by the Philosopher's Stone during the final battle of Symphogear AXZ. Amalgam is the fusion of the Symphogear System and Faust Robes, an armament similar to the Symphogears. Upon activation, it instantly releases the energy that composes the Symphogear and reforms it into a golden "Coccoon", a first stage that gives the user a far more powerful barrier field than normal, albeit consuming far more energy. Next, the energy is reformed into a high-output armed gear, reorganizing into an "Imago" that serves as a second stage.
The coccoon state has little in the way of offensive capabilities, but a near-unbreakable defense. The Imago form, however, sacrifices defensive capabilities in order to greatly increase attack power. In this state, Hibiki forms two large golden fists connected to her shoulders which she controls with her own arms. They are able to detatch and fly independantly, as well as spin rapidly to become a drill.
• X-Drive: The evolved true form of the Symphogear, typically achieved via the use of a miracle. This form is concealed within the Symphogear relics under 301,655,722 locks, and can only be unlocked under an absurdly high generation of Phonic Gain. The X-Drive appears to only last for one use before the user's Symphogear reverts to their normal form at whatever level they had last naturally unlocked it at.
When the X-Drive is active, the Symphogear gains a predominantly-white color scheme and enhanced design, universally including the addition of angelic wings formed of colored light. In this state, all Symphogears, regardless of their normal abilities, are capable of unassisted flight both in the Earth's atmosphere and in space, and all of the user's normal abilities drastically increase in power. There is also the Burning X-Drive, however it still remains as difficult to activate.
Limitations:
• Song Interruptions: Although the Symphogera armor is able to absorb damage during battle, any sort of disruption of the song will result in a temporary dampening of its battle potential. At the moment, this is the only weakness that has been observed in the Symphogear system. Situations such as being underwater and therefore being unable to sing will also decrease the gear's overall output.
• Mortality: Despite the incredible power that Hibiki possesses, she is ultimately just a normal teenage girl. She becomes powerful only after transforming into her Symphogear. Sure, she's physically fit, but ultimately she possesses nothing in the way of powers on her own, aside from a constant resistance to Divine Influences due to possessing Gungnir at all.
• Mental State: Hibiki's mental state can affect Hibiki's ability to utilize the full extent of her abilities. This usually means negative mental states, such as crippling uncertainty, which can cause disharmony between the user and the relic and prevent the Holy Words from coming to the user.
• Difficult to Repair: Damage to the gear is usually not anything to be too worried about, however if the relic and pendant itself is damaged, repairing the ancient technology will take considerable time depending on the severity of damage. Alchemists from Hibiki's world would be able to speed up this process, but otherwise, I will say that repairs in-game are possible but very slow.
Personality —
The final Zwei Wing Concert. She had been invited by her childhood friend, Miku Kohinata, but Miku unfortunately ended up being unable to join her at the concert. Though she was alone, she attended the concert and became an immediate fan... but it was then that a Noise Attack struck the concert. The singers, Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, were in actuality Symphogear Wielders and immediately attempted to defeat the Noise. When Hibiki fell into danger, Kanade rushed to her aid and protected Hibiki, but while using herself as a shield to prevent the attacks from the Noise from hitting Hibiki, shards of her Symphogear shot off and struck Hibiki in the chest.
Hibiki was able to survive, urged on by Kanade to not give up on living, words that would stay with Hibiki from then on. After Kanade's sacrifice in using her Climax Song, attempts were made to surgically remove the Gungnir fragments... which was only partially successful, and resulted in smaller pieces that could not be removed, and thus remained in her chest. These fragments would eventually lead into her becoming a Symphogear Wielder.
Due to being the only survivor from the concert, Hibiki and her family would then proceed to face brutal harassment which would cause Hibiki's father to run, abandoning his family. Fortunately, Hibiki was able to get through this thanks to the constant support of Miku Kohinata, and she was able to remain optimistic and believe that everything would be fine, and everything would work out, which it eventually did.
Hibiki has a large amount of faith in humanity, and does not want to fight anyone if she doesn't have to, and will instead advocate for talking and trying to find a peaceful resolution. She does not want to have any pointless battles when she believes the problem can be talked about calmly first. Otherwise, she gladly dons her Symphogear in order to help people who are in danger that otherwise can't be saved by ordinary means, and will fight back if push comes to shove. Her song represents this mindset, as the directly-translated lyrics state: A fist without hesitation bears no weight.
Though Hibiki will do her absolute best to remain positive with a smile on her face, she is not without her own fears and negativity. More than anything else, Hibiki's greatest fear is being alone. Losing her friends, losing her precious one, losing the people she cares most about... being unable to grip them tightly enough. She believes that the strength of their bonds can and will remain strong, no matter the distance between them, and will never falter... but the thought of losing those connections is Hibiki's greatest fear.
Continuing to work with S.O.N.G. as a Wielder and saving others wherever and whenever she can. She also wants to live a happy life with all of the people closest to her, and hold her precious one—Miku—tight and continue to smile with everyone. Whether her heroics are as simple as saving a cat from a tree or donning her Symphogear to battle the Noise, she will not hesitate to help.

Honestly, nothing specific in particular! She'll obviously be joining the Guardian Alliance so that she can help and save others... though she will be a little nervous about what to do about her secret identity, considering how she is quite literally anything but subtle. OOCly, I think it'd be neat to find a way for her to conceal her identity, but I don't know how she would, considering that her gear does not come with mask... and she sings whenever she fights. That being said, it'd probably be hilarious if she suddenly and unintentionally got famous because of that. She'd have no clue what to do, please help her.
As stated above, she treasures her friends from home a lot, and will inevitably poke at the "how to go home" question. Everyone she cares about is back home! Including Miku, herwifeprecious Sunshine! She'll hide it incredibly well, but she'll definitely be super down and depressed about being separated from everyone. Especially Miku, though this would be mostly solved if anybody would like to come in here with a Miku Kohinata muse... hint hint wink wonk please give Hibiki her wife. Otherwise, she'll likely be very inclined to try and find a way back home, or at least make contact with home, however impossible that may be.
